This full-time role located beachfront Burleigh Heads, offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, premium hospitality environment.Rick Shores is unlike any other restaurant, its location brings people from around the globe and the dining experience is relaxed yet unforgettable.Your new role as Sous Chef at Rick Shores plays a key part in leading our 30 plus strong kitchen team, delivering Burleigh Beachside dining experiences every day of each year.Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate great culinary expertise and lead the team in a hands-on way – never afraid to jump into a section, run the pass or support the team organise for service.Maintain focus and quality through 250 pax services – often back to back.Bring creativity to influence an already successful formula of Pacific and Asian-inspired dishes.Communicate effectively to engage both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.Share knowledge to develop CDPs, commis, and apprentices.Explore new ideas, bring them back, and give them a Rick Shores flavour.Manage costs commercially – operationally control food and payroll.At Rick Shores we are always building up, our next Sous Chef (we hope it's you) will give our team something extra and in turn our customers will continue to experience progressive dining that they come back for again and again.Rick Shores is part of Fanda Group, a select group of venues creating dining experiences that are more than great food and wine.
