The Role
Coodanup College is seeking to appoint a dedicated Teacher – Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) to join their friendly team.
The successful applicant should have the capacity to deliver highly engaging programmes that are relevant to our students' needs.
Utilising your effective organisational and interpersonal skills, you will work closely with students, teachers and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
We are seeking a passionate HASS teacher to join our Humanities and Social Sciences team.
The ideal candidate will bring strong curriculum knowledge and enthusiasm across History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship and Economics and Business, and be committed to helping students understand the world and their place in it.
You will ideally be designing engaging lessons that build critical thinking, inquiry skills, and real-world understanding.
We are looking for an educator who values strong relationships, uses effective teaching strategies, and contributes positively to our learning area culture.

hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
