Aroona Farms is seeking an experienced Administrator Officer to join our team in Simarloo, SA. In this part‑time role you will collaborate closely with the Farms Operations Manager and play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day activities while helping shape the future growth and success of the operation.
About the Company
Aroona Farms is a combination of two almond orchards: the Margooya Orchard located in the Victorian Sunraysia region near Robinvale and Simarloo in South Australia's Riverland near Renmark. The two orchards span more than 2,700 hectares with over 900,000 trees and currently produce over 9 thousand tonnes of almonds per year.
Aroona Farms is part of the AustOn Group, which provides oversight of each farm's business plan and brings cross‑portfolio initiatives and sharing of best practice. Each farm has day‑to‑day responsibility for managing the farm and implementing the business plan.
About you
We're seeking a results‑driven Administrator Officer with:
* Proactive mindset and strong organisational skills
* A commitment to continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative assistance to the Farms Operations Manager and wider team across scheduling, document management and communications.
* Accurately enter and manage operational data across relevant systems, including production, inventory and compliance platforms.
* Assist with inventory tracking, purchase‑order processing and receipt of goods in line with procurement policies.
* Assist in maintaining and organising training documentation and records.
What We're Looking For
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
* Strong computer literacy, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reporting and documentation.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* A current driver's licence.
* Tertiary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Agriculture, Horticulture or Agribusiness (or similar).
