The Role
The IT Systems Administrator, reporting to the Director of IT Operations, will play a key role in maintaining and optimising Crystalbrook Collection's IT infrastructure. As a valued member of a collaborative team, this role involves managing servers, networks, storage systems, end-user computing, and applications, while delivering technical support to internal and external users.

As our new IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for:
1. Deploying and configuring IT infrastructure to support business objectives
2. Maintaining servers, storage systems, and network components for optimal performance
3. Monitoring system health, addressing performance issues proactively, and ensuring network stability and security (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)
4. Administering operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, Android) and virtualisation environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
5. Overseeing backups, disaster recovery plans, and IT security protocols, including audits and incident response
6. Providing advanced technical support to guests and workforce, collaborating with the IT helpdesk for timely resolutions
7. Assisting with IT projects, such as upgrades, technology rollouts, and system migrations
8. Partnering with departments to deliver innovative IT solutions enhancing efficiency and the guest experience
9. Managing vendor relationships, software licenses, and compliance with industry standards
10. Documenting IT systems, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge continuity
We Are Looking For Someone Who
1. Has extensive IT experience, ideally within hospitality, hotels, or tourism sectors
2. Has expertise with PMS, integrated systems, and cloud migration projects
3. Holds a tertiary qualification in ICT and has strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and emerging technologies
4. Has exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a guest- and team-oriented mindset
