About the Role
The Administration Officer will work in a high performing, committed and flexible administrative team that provides customer and patient liaison focused services to patients, families and visitors of all areas of the Emergency Department in a manner that is respectful, compassionate and caring.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Providing vital administrative support to medical and nursing staff to support patient services and care within the Department and across Barwon Health
* Accurately collecting complex patient and service data for reporting and financial services
* Establishing strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and consumers

* Demonstrated experience delivering high quality customer service
* The ability to work in a large multidisciplinary team
* A proven ability to multitask, manage competing priorities and problem solve
* A proven computer literacy and ability to learn specialist programs
* The ability to adapt to a high pressure and fast-paced environment
* The ability to work shift hours as required
