From managing workflow and mentoring technicians to diagnosing the trickiest of faults, you’ll keep the wheels turning and the standards sky-high.What You’ll Be Doing:Delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholdersActing as the key link between Service Advisors, customers, and the workshopLiaising with the Workshop Controller on work status, delays, and additional repairsProviding expert mechanical advice and insights on vehicle conditionsLeading and mentoring technicians and apprentices with confidence and clarityTroubleshooting and diagnosing complex faults using advanced diagnostic toolsPerforming and overseeing service and repair tasks as requiredConducting quality control checks and test drives post-serviceRolling out training sessions and maintaining technical know-how across the teamEnsuring clear communication on service bulletins and new model updatesManaging workshop equipment, tools, and safety protocolsKeeping detailed records of tool usage, repairs, and preventative maintenanceUpholding cleanliness and care standards for every vehicleJumping in with admin tasks like warranty order processing when neededPromoting a safe, clean, and positive workshop cultureAbout You – Our Kind of Teammate:A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology – a must haveStrong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a high-performing teamA deep understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processesConfidence liaising with both customers and service staffA proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementA focus on safety, efficiency, and team developmentExperience managing workflow and maintaining workshop standardsA genuine passion for the industry and a desire to help others growYou’ve got a full driver’s licence and a passion for carsReady to take the next step?If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and lead a workshop that’s buzzing with energy, teamwork, and pride, then we want you on board!Apply now and be part of the CarPlace movement that’s changing the game – one joyful car-buying experience at a time.
