Assistant Branch Manager

About the role:

Our Assistant Branch Managers support the Branch Manager with operations and the day-to-day running of the branch; oversee and supervise a team of trade and Industrial specialists, ensuring their success; maintain a safe workplace .

Duties include:

* Coach, develop, and support a small team of trade, sales & packing team members to reach their full potential
* Provide sales and service to trade, industrial & mining customers leveraging your expert automotive parts/mechanical knowledge
* Manage & resolve customer issues/complaints in a timely & professional manner
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home

Note, this role will require lifting, bending & climbing.

Who we're looking for:

* Supervisory experience or ready to take the next step in your career
* Previous trade/industrial experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience (desirable)
* Experience building strong relationships with all customers; creating 'moments that matter'
* A solution-focussed problem-solver
* Sound computer skills
* Conscious of workplace safety always
* Hold a valid driver's license
