About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with families during one of their most challenging times. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the funeral arrangement process, providing guidance, support, and attention to detail to ensure each service is conducted with dignity and respect.
* Meet with families to plan and arrange funeral services
* Coordinate service details with cemeteries, clergy, celebrants, florists, and other providers
* Prepare necessary documentation, bookings, and service-related paperwork
* Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional service
* Offer compassionate support and professional advice to client families from diverse backgrounds and faiths
About the Position
You will be an individual who has a natural ability to put the needs of our families first. Key attributes include:
* Previous experience in a related role, such as funeral arranging, conducting, or directing, or relevant experience in customer service, event management, or a similar field
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex and sensitive arrangements with attention to detail
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* A genuine commitment to supporting bereaved families
* Strong organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
* Confidence working under pressure and resilience in the face of change
* A valid driver's license and current police clearances
* A flexible approach to work hours, including occasional weekend or after-hours work
