OverviewDress for Success Western Australia (DFSWA) is looking for Career Support Volunteers in Geraldton to help establish a permanent satellite service.
Volunteers will join twice a month starting in March, providing one-on-one guidance on resumes, cover letters, interview preparation and career planning.
This is an opportunity to empower women in the region and connect with like-minded community members.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate skills, interests and goals to identify potential career paths.Assist with career planning and guidance on educational and vocational options.Support job application processes, interview skills and professional development.Help create and refine resumes, cover letters and job applications for employment and further study.QualificationsExperienced volunteers who can walk alongside women we serve, providing advice and support in career development.CommitmentRegular engagement for more than 6 months; sessions on Wednesdays (morning or afternoon) every two months from March onwards.
