About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a mental health clinician with a strong interest in working with Eating Disorders to join a growing district-wide multidisciplinary team in Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD).
The position is responsible for providing a virtual and face to face clinical service within the WNSWLHD as part of a multidisciplinary eating disorders support team. The clinician will work across the lifespan with inpatient and community treating teams in the district to enhance and support existing service delivery. Services include individual clinical assessment and treatment; facilitation of individual and group evidence-based treatment models, and facilitation of carer support groups. The Clinician has extensive specialist knowledge within the mental health context and demonstrates advanced clinical reasoning skills.
This is a district wide service and you will be required to work across multiple sites across WNSWLHD
