The Role
As a Sales Assistant at JD Sports, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a memorable shopping experience that exceeds customer expectations. Key responsibilities include:
1. Acting as a brand ambassador, demonstrating positivity and professionalism at all times.
2. Gaining and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
3. Providing personalized 1:1 customer service, addressing customer queries and processing sales.
4. Collaborating with the wider management and store team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
5. Supporting the team with ad-hoc tasks, including visual merchandising setup, store cleanliness, and presentation.
6. Escalating any customer complaints to management.
7. Completing mandatory training relevant to products, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
We are seeking energetic, focused, and passionate individuals who embody the following qualities:
1. Customer service experience within retail, hospitality, or a similar industry.
2. Able to provide excellent service and go above and beyond customer expectations.
3. Passionate about sports fashion or has in-depth knowledge of key brands.
