Job Description
Senior Manager, Supply Chain – Australia
Location: Sydney, Australia
Role Overview
The Senior Supply Chain Manager – Australia is the in-country operational lead and the "face of Supply Chain" for all Australia-based projects, ensuring that projects are planned, supplied, and delivered in alignment with contractual requirements, cost targets, and project schedules. This position acts as the primary Australia-based interface between local stakeholders (regional leaders, Engineering, Sales, Project Operations, suppliers, logistics providers) and global Planning, Logistics, Sourcing and NPI teams primarily based in other regions. While strategic sourcing leadership remains global, this role plays a critical role supporting our Sourcing Team with local sourcing leadership, supplier development and ramp up, coordination, and operational execution.
The role combines elements of Delivery Management, Supply Chain Operations and Local Sourcing Leadership, providing on-the-ground management while leveraging offshore teams for planning, logistics, and project supply chain execution. The Senior Supply Chain Manager – Australia reports to the Senior Director, Supply Chain APAC

* Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard local Australian suppliers to support project delivery, capacity needs, domestic content requirements, and risk mitigation – in coordination with global sourcing leadership.
* Drive commercial discussions and negotiations with local suppliers, including pricing, capacity commitments, lead times, and service levels, in coordination with global sourcing teams.
* Support negotiation, implementation, and ongoing management of local and regional supply agreements, ensuring alignment with global master agreements where applicable.
* Maintain strong operational and executive-level relationships with local suppliers, acting as the primary in-country interface for performance management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

* Enable seamless collaboration between Australia-based stakeholders and offshore execution teams.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
