This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, close-knit accounting firm led by a highly experienced Director and supported by a team of 7 staff. The firm works with a diverse and engaging client base, ranging from small businesses through to a broad mix of entity structures. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of industries and business models, ensuring your work remains both challenging and rewarding. The practice operates across multiple systems including MYOB AE, Xero (primarily for bookkeeping), and QuickBooks, providing exposure to varied platforms and workflow structures. The Role An experienced Accountant is sought to step into a senior-level position within the team. While there are assistant accountants in place, the firm is now looking for someone confident in reviewing work, managing workflow, and providing strong technical support. Key responsibilities will include: Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns Managing workflow and maintaining quality control Reviewing work completed by junior team members Supporting the Director on technical and compliance matters Playing a key role in backend accounting and compliance processes The Director currently oversees advisory engagements, offering the opportunity to work closely with hands-on leadership and gain exposure to higher-level client matters. Exciting Office Relocation The firm will be relocating to a brand-new office in Gregory Hills at the end of March. The new premises offer modern facilities and excellent surrounding parking.
