We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of two retail stores located at Perth Airport. This role requires strong leadership capability, operational oversight, and a hands‐on approach to ensure seamless store performance in a fast‐paced airport retail environment.
Support end-to-end operations of both retail outlets within Perth Airport.
Monitor daily sales performance and implement strategies to meet revenue targets.
Supervise, guide, and motivate retail staff across both stores.
Assist in staff rostering, shift allocation, and manpower planning.
Provide on‐floor leadership during peak airport trading hours.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Ensure a high level of customer engagement and service delivery.
Assist with sales performance and operational targets.
Liaise with Perth Airport management when required.
Coordinate with Telsim partners and service providers.
Ensure excellent customer service and compliance with airport standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in high‐volume environments.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
Strong problem‐solving and decision‐making ability.
Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Must have Valid Australian driver's license.
Must be Australian citizen or Permanent Resident.
