CELOTTI Workforce is currently seeking an Estimating Coordinator to join our client, a well-established commercial construction business operating across fit-out and refurbishment projects.
This role is well suited to a candidate with a background in construction administration, estimating support, drafting, or a relevant building qualification who is looking to build a long-term career within pre-construction and estimating.
You will play a key support role within the estimating and bid team, assisting with the preparation, coordination and administration of subcontract tender packages to support successful tender submissions.
The role is highly process-driven and requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence communicating with subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the estimating team with data collection for tender submissions
Prepare, issue and follow up subcontractor tender packages
Make outbound calls to subcontractors to request pricing and confirm tender interest
Chase and track subcontractor quotations to meet tender deadlines
Manage tender initiation documentation, including document registers and tender logs
Prepare, print and distribute drawings and tender information to subcontractors
Take minutes and support Bid Team and Tender Strategy Meetings
Coordinate site inspections for tender packages
Respond to basic Tender RFIs and general enquiries
Maintain and update subcontractor, contact and prequalification databases
Support compliance with internal systems, policies and safety requirements
Ideal Candidate:
Tertiary qualification in building, drafting or a related discipline preferred
Exposure to construction, estimating or pre-construction environments
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confident phone manner and professional communication skills
Strong computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
High attention to detail and willingness to learn estimating processes and systems
