The Opportunity
A newly created position now exists for a passionate and hardworking Business Development / Broker Success Manager to join the team. In this role you will target an audience of Brokers and Aggregators, developing and nurturing meaningful relationships whilst promoting market-leading lending solutions including Commercial Finance, Residential Bridging Finance and Development Finance.
This position would report to the General Manager of Business Development in addition to the Chief Executive Officer and you will be working closely with the Lending Manager and the Marketing Manager.
What will you be doing?
* Expanding the broker partner network by onboarding new brokers and partners
* Managing existing Brokers and Aggregator relationships
* Attending various industry events and awards nights of which our Client is a platinum sponsor
* Educating broker partners about products
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
The ideal Candidate
* Has an existing broker network along with Aggregator and industry relationships
* Experience working with a lender (bank or non-bank) in a similar BDM role
* Strong product and credit understanding, ideally in short-medium term Bridging Finance however training will be provided
* The ability to work autonomously, while being part of a team
* Highly motivated with excellent time management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Well-developed presentation, prospecting, workshopping, and influencing skills
