We are seeking an accomplished leader to join our team as General Manager of a residential aged care facility. This pivotal role will focus on driving strategic and operational excellence, strengthening connections with the local community, and fostering a person-centered care environment.
About the Role:
* Lead the overall strategic direction and operational management of the facility.
* Drive a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Evaluate compliance with quality standards and develop strategies for improvement.
* Develop and support a high-performing multidisciplinary team aligned with organizational values.
* Become deeply engaged with residents, families, staff, and regional stakeholders to build meaningful relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Direction: Set clear goals and objectives, drive innovation, and ensure effective resource allocation.
2. Culture Building: Develop a positive work environment, recognizing and rewarding staff, and promoting teamwork.
3. Operational Excellence: Implement efficient processes, manage risk, and monitor quality outcomes.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including clinical governance experts, and contribute to organizational goals and systems.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in residential aged care leadership or equivalent roles.
* Strong understanding of clinical governance, operational management, and transformational change.
* AHPRA registration and/or relevant clinical governance experience is highly desirable.
* Tertiary qualifications in business or health management would be advantageous.
