We are seeking a Junior 5G Rigger to join our team. This is a permanent position involved in the rollout of 5G networks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various tasks, including installing and upgrading equipment, and assisting technicians with installation and rectification work.
This role offers a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the telecommunications industry.
The ideal candidate will have basic rigging ticket (advanced ticket preferred), high voltage accreditation, EWP, current drivers' licence, construction white card, safe work at heights training, tower rescue certification up to date, and first aid training including CPR.
Radhaz Awareness certification and demonstrated knowledge of safe work practice are also essential.
The company will provide all necessary tools and pay for any required tickets or certifications.
This is a full-time position with an immediate start and a competitive salary package.
The location is Melbourne / VIC - Metro and Rural.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out Telstra/Optus/Vodafone 5G Rollout and Upgrades
* Assist technicians to undertake installation rectification of all equipment deployed during the project rollout (RBS, Towers from ground feeders etc.)
* Panning/Re-panning Antennas, Terminating/Re-termination of Cables, Labelling, Grounding & Sweep Testing
* Ensure all working at heights activities are performed by all team members safely and in accordance with Our client's safety procedures
* Ensure our client's Quality Objectives are met throughout the term of the Rollout by all staff and Subcontractors
* Ensure our client's and customer's Installation Standards are maintained through effective auditing of installations
* Maintain personal health and fitness to ensure WAH (Working at Heights) & Tower Rescue ability
