Head of Corporate & Commercial Law - Make Partner within 12 months
To $300,000+ Bonuses + Benefits (Depending on exp)
My client (a well regarded and recognised commercial litigation firm) is seeking to appoint a Head of Corporate & Commercial Law to lead a small, but rapidly growing team.
Given the large amount of referral work that will automatically flow from their established client base (such as accountancy and insolvency firms, publicly listed companies, banks, financiers, insurers and private clients), the role will suit a senior associate level candidate who has a proven background in corporate and commercial law and who may have aspirations to achieve Partnership within the next 12–24 months.
The firm will also entertain discussions with candidates who are already at a Special Counsel or Partner level, or from sole practitioners that may run a small commercial law firm (looking to bolt on and share in a high number of referrals as well as do away with the headache and time constraints of back‐office administration).
Day‐to‐day responsibilities include:
* Business transactions such as acquisitions and sales
* Shareholder agreements and joint ventures
* Commercial leasing
* Commercial contracts, including terms of trade, procurement and distribution arrangements
