The role of a Purchasing Officer involves providing temporary support to the procurement team. The candidate will assist with processing a backlog of credit notes, purchase orders and updating details in the new ERP system, Business Central.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing returns and recording stock back into the warehouse
* Transferring stock locations and reinforcing correct pricing
* Reviewing POs and Sales orders for completeness
* Following up on outstanding shipments
To be successful, the candidate must have previous experience in a purchasing, stock administrator, bookkeeper or returns administrative role. Experience with Business Central is desirable but not essential. The candidate must also be immediately available to start.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Prior experience in purchasing, stock administration, bookkeeping, or returns administration
* Ability to process credit notes and purchase orders
* Proficiency in using ERP systems, preferably Business Central
