As a skilled Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing mechanical capital projects from concept to completion.
About the Role
You will plan, manage and deliver mechanical capital projects across the business. This includes working closely with internal teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
* Plan, manage and deliver mechanical capital projects.
* Support the installation, commissioning and integration of new equipment and technologies.
* Provide input into maintenance systems and processes aligned with project outcomes.
This role requires a strong mechanical background, ideally with trade experience, who has moved into project engineering and understands the real-world challenges of manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage mechanical design solutions using Solid-works.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) preferred. 5+ years' experience in capital project delivery. Proficient in Solid-works with minimum 5 years of CAD experience. Strong knowledge of machinery installation and related services. Trade background and/or maintenance experience highly regarded.
