Business Development Manager – Automotive & Industrial (Melbourne)

The Role
* Develop and grow sales across automotive workshops and distributor channels throughout Melbourne and surrounding regions
* Build strong relationships with key accounts to increase brand advocacy and long-term partnerships
* Identify promotional, training, and merchandising opportunities to maximise visibility and sales performance
* Represent the business at trade events, industry expos, and customer engagement activities
* Collaborate closely with marketing to activate campaigns and promotional initiatives
* Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and regular sales reporting
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs aligned with business growth objectives
About You
* Proven experience in business development, area sales, or account management
* Background in the automotive sector with openness to tools or industrial markets
* Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in product training, trade marketing, or brand advocacy (desirable)
* Flexibility to travel regularly within the Melbourne region
* A genuine passion for the automotive and industrial industry
