About the Project
HumeLink East involves expanding the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation and designing and constructing 230 km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This line will connect the Bannaby substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West, strengthening Australia's energy network and supporting the transition to renewable energy.
About the Opportunity
As Senior Stakeholder and Community Relations Advisor, you will lead engagement strategies for HumeLink East, ensuring transparent communication and strong relationships with local communities, landowners, and key stakeholders. Reporting to the Community & Stakeholder Manager, you will manage complex issues, provide strategic advice, and oversee engagement activities to support project delivery.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans
* Manage community consultation and feedback
* Build relationships with landowners and local groups
* Prepare reports and briefings for leadership
* Coordinate events and information sessions
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Competencies
* Degree in communications, public relations or similar
* Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
