Qualifications
* Experience must be in at least one area: Sound, Operational experience of live audio using sound consoles, wired microphones, wireless microphone systems, front of house mixing, monitor mixing systems and mixing for broadcast; Video, Operational experience of video production switchers, cameras, video routers, shading, projectors, video streaming technologies; Lighting, Operational experience and design of lighting systems for theatre, banquet, concert, and video production needs. Moving light operation. Spotlight use; Rigging, Operational experience of rigging systems with chain motors, truss, fly rail operation or electric batons.
* Must be flexible in regard to working nights, weekends and holidays, indoors and outdoors, in all types of weather.

Terms of Employment
This is a part-time temporary assignment, however, the length of the temporary assignment will be determined based on project needs.
Pay
$23.00/hour
Essential Functions
* Setup audio, lighting, rigging, video equipment and provide technical support to the MHAB conference center and the Visual and Performing Arts Center.
* Provide quality customer service to the general public, district staff, promoters and other clients.
* Operate the technical equipment during live events, including concerts, graduations, theatrical events, church services, meetings, banquets and plays.
* Report malfunctions and faulty equipment and assist in the repair of technical equipment.
* Track and report working hours and equipment use for billing purposes.
* Set-up, troubleshoot, and operate Audio/Visual equipment including but not limited to Mac and PC computers, routers, projectors, screens, WAN/LAN, and wireless microphones.
* Have a strong knowledge and understanding of audio, lighting, rigging, video equipment and other technical systems at the MHAB and VPAC facilities.
* Assist other departments as needed.
* Meet with and support clients and assist with the successful operation of technology at the Berry Center.
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
