About the role
Are you interested in pursuing a career as a Glazier? A1 Glass & Showers' is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Glazier to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. As an Apprentice Glazier, you will work alongside experienced tradesmen to learn the skills and techniques required to fabricate, install and maintain glass products. This is a full-time role with opportunities for ongoing training and development.
What you'll be doing
1. Fabricating and installing glass products such as windows, doors, shower screens and mirrors
2. Measuring, cutting and assembling glass components
3. Maintaining tools and equipment
4. Learning to read and interpret technical drawings
5. Providing exceptional customer service
6. Assisting with problem-solving and troubleshooting
7. Completing all on-the-job and off-the-job training as required for your apprenticeship
What we're looking for
1. A strong interest in the building trades and a willingness to learn
2. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
3. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
4. Commitment to completing your apprenticeship training
5. Must be under 21 years of age to be eligible for this apprentice position
