Overview
Pinctada Hotel is a member of the Paspaley Pearls Group, which was founded in 1952, and is now a diverse assembly of companies. Whilst Paspaley core business is in pearling, including pearl production, wholesale, and retail, it also has extensive involvement and interests in engineering, aviation, agriculture, hospitality and resort accommodation businesses and commercial property.
A unique opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate hotel service manager at the Pinctada Hotel, just minutes from the turquoise waters and white sands of famous Cable Beach. The hotel's in one of WA's most iconic tourist towns is surrounded by the tranquillity of tropical gardens and captures the essence of Broome with its stunning design and luxury facilities.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and schedule housekeeping, front office, and concierge teams.
* Oversee day-to-day functions, including room turnover, maintenance requests, and front desk operations.
* Resolve guest complaints, handle inquiries professionally, and ensure high satisfaction levels.
* Enforce health, safety, and security regulations across all departments.
* Maintain attendance records, manage inventory/supplies, and prepare performance reports.
* Establish and maintain cleanliness standards in all F&B facilities and public areas.
* Ensure all guest requests are promptly addressed, and special services are provided as needed.
* Work closely with other departments (e.g., Maintenance, Bars, & Kitchen) to ensure smooth operations and address any cross-departmental issues.
* Actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the overall hotel strategy and operational planning.
