We're looking for a Facility Maintenance Leading Hand to coordinate maintenance works, guide staff, and ensure our buildings and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards.
About the Role
* In consultation with the Facility Maintenance Supervisor, provide direction on all matters relating to day-to-day building and facility maintenance operations.
* Liaise with external contractors to deliver facility maintenance services and projects.
* Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating the annual building maintenance and renewal programs.
* Support the implementation of asset management and preventative maintenance strategies.
* Leadership of the Facility Maintenance Officers, offering support, maintenance resolutions, scheduling and work priorities.
What You'll bring
* Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities.
* Supervisory experience in a local government or large organisational maintenance environment (desirable).
* Working knowledge of building compliance and safety requirements.
* White Card (Construction Induction).
* Current National Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old).
* First Aid Certificate.
