Job Description
This senior-level accounting position is a temporary opportunity that will see you managing the general ledger, including monthly balance sheet, banking and inter-company reconciliations.
* As a Senior Financial Accountant, your key responsibilities will include analyzing profit and loss and balance sheet trends, making corrections where needed.
* You will be responsible for completing monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
* Another key aspect of this role is providing daily cashflow reporting to stakeholders.
* You will oversee the preparation of GST, FBT, Payroll and Corporate Income Tax returns.
* Additionally, you will assist in preparing year-end statutory accounts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree qualification in a finance-related field.
* CPA or CA qualification.
* Experience with fixed assets & lease accounting (AASB16).
