This is an exciting chance for experienced Consultant/Specialist Anaesthetists to work in a dynamic, innovative department at one of Queensland's leading tertiary referral hospitals.
We are looking for individuals who can lead and manage anaesthetic and perioperative services, train junior doctors, and contribute to research and innovation in regional anaesthesia.

Benefits
We offer a generous remuneration package including:
* A salary up to $496,915 per year.
* An Attraction & Retention Allowance (50% of base salary).
* A Motor Vehicle Allowance ($21,000 - $25,500 p.a.).
* A Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 + 3.6 weeks leave).
* 4-6 weeks annual leave + 14%-17.5% loading.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contributions.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing anaesthesia services for complex elective and emergency cases.
* Supervising and training anaesthetic registrars, fellows, and junior doctors.
* Conducting pre-operative assessments, pain management, and critical care consultations.
* Supporting outreach services in rural and regional areas of North Queensland.
* Engaging in quality improvement, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
* Fellowship of ANZCA or equivalent with AHPRA Specialist Registration.
* Experience in general and complex anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, and pain management.
* Leadership, teaching, and mentorship skills.
* The ability to work in regional and outreach settings.
