Overview
Opportunity: We have an opportunity within our Maintenance team for a Full-time Refrigeration Mechanic who is also open to working rotating shifts. Responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and upgrading refrigeration systems to comply with new regulations and standards, and conducting routine inspections and tests on existing equipment to diagnose problems and make necessary repairs.
Responsibilities
* Maintain, repair, and upgrade refrigeration systems to comply with new regulations and standards.
* Perform routine inspections and tests on equipment to diagnose problems and make necessary repairs.
Required qualifications and skills
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic.
* Current QLD Refrigeration Licence.
* Certificate IV in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Systems.
* Experience operating ammonia gas in a work environment.
* Experience in manufacturing/continuous operational environments.
* Previous experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
* Strong focus on planned preventative maintenance systems.
* Proficiency in performing preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems and general computer literacy.
