About the Role
As Centre Director, you will oversee the day to day operations and leadership of the service, ensuring high quality education, strong team culture and regulatory compliance.
You will be the main point of contact for staff, families and management, while leading the team to maintain strong occupancy, quality programming and a positive workplace environment.
Leadership and Culture
* Lead, mentor and support educators across the centre
* Build a positive, respectful and professional team culture
* Support staff wellbeing, development and retention
* Confidently communicate with families and the wider community
Operations
* Manage day to day service operations
* Maintain strong occupancy and enrolments
* Oversee rosters, staffing and service performance
* Step in to support the floor when required
Quality and Compliance
* Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and the National Quality Framework
* Support the implementation of strong educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
* Maintain readiness for assessment and rating and internal quality checks
Community and Engagement
* Build relationships with families and local organisations
* Promote the centre within the community
* Ensure families feel connected and supported
About You
We are looking for a Director who is confident, empathetic and capable of leading a busy service.
You will bring:
* Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Minimum 5 years leadership experience in early childhood education
* Previously managed a large service (around 100 places)
* Strong knowledge of the NQF, National Regulations and EYLF
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills
* Autonomous, organised and solutions focused

The Director plays a key role in ensuring the service continues to exceed expectations for children, families and the community while maintaining strong operational performance.
Child Safeguarding
Looking for an individual that will understand, adhere to, and promote The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (the Child Safe Standards). In your position, you will help to take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.
Child safeguarding methods for this position, include, but are not limited to:
* A NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
* Thorough screening.
* Reference checks.
* A national criminal history check.
