You will:
* use your strong co-ordination skills to plan, organise, and facilitate Beacon's well-respected programs and services including career readiness and work exposure activities, brokering work experience, and connecting students to the world of work and pathway opportunities.
* display your capacity and empathy to connect and engage with young people, specifically years 9-12 students in government schools (Hellyer Collective schools).
* facilitate in-school activities (guest speakers, industry panels, workshops) and excursions (industry site visits) to demonstrate pathways available to students. Training will be provided if needed.
* collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging networks and business connections. Maintaining strong relationships with educators, industry reps, and peak bodies is essential.
* utilise administrative and organisational skills, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office, to develop annual plans, manage programs end-to-end, and maintain and report on data.
