We are seeking aSenior Manager - Strategic Partnerships to join our Melbourne team on a 12 Month Contract.
The hairy factory that is Movember is looking to grow the partnerships team in line with the organisation strategic goals, which sees a focus on partnerships as a key strategic pillar.
The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnership will lead our Movember strategic partnership strategy in Australia, working with diverse strategic partners to amplify our voice, deliver key health messaging to help change behaviour and build brand credibility. They will lead in managing an existing partnership portfolio whilst looking at opportunities to drive revenue and reach to enable Movember to continue to fund our life saving work. This role will also play a key part in supporting the fundraising strategy and execution across each partnership, ensuring aligned efforts that contribute directly to income growth and long-term impact.
Partnerships are a key funding stream and an area of growth for Movember. The team focuses on building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that meet a business's needs, including employee and customer engagement, brand value, business relevance, CSR and wellbeing objectives.
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving forward our strategy and approach to further strengthen our strategic engagement with partners. You will be responsible for helping to contribute to the overall revenue target, whilst building partnerships that fully leverage and harness the power of the business to achieve transformational impact and to deliver change. You'll create value for both parties to achieve a common need. Building meaningful relationships at every level, you will understand how and where you can have real influence and build positive networks from Senior Leaders through to the grass roots. You will be responsible for leading and working in partnership with the Senior Manager of Commercial Partnerships who is responsible for implementation.
You will report to the Director of Partnerships and New Business.
In addition, the role will work collaboratively with other areas of the business, including the wider partnerships team locally and globally, Institute, Marketing and Fundraising and Development.
For this role, you'll need;
* 5+ years of previous experience working in the partnership space, delivering high quality (best in class) partnerships
* Previous experience of line/team management
* Has a track record of taking initiative, working independently and being resourceful.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
* Good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and manage several programs concurrently and meet deadlines
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Self-starter/high level of internal motivation
* Ability to work in a fast paced and growth environment
* Adaptability and flexibility
* Able to work independently
* Proficient in research techniques, database management
* Proficient in building compelling proposals
* Demonstrated experience in building mutually beneficial strategic plan
* Relevant tertiary Qualifications
* Experience in both B2B and B2C business development/ account management
