Position Overview
We have an exciting role available as a Teacher in the Primary Health Care team at TAFE Queensland's Toowoomba Campus (potential travel required across the region). The position is temporary part‐time (0.7 FTE) and available until 30 June 2027, unless otherwise determined, and reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $65,051 - $81,432 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Requirements
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent; and/or
* Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care
Additional Requirements
* Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
* Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment providedEvidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency‐based training and assessment
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Current Queensland Driver's licence
* Current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement), to comply with the Working with Children Check Act 2000
Training and Assessment Credentials
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
* TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
* TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or
* TAE50111 or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
* TAE50211 or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or
* A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials:
o TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor; or
o TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor; or
* A higher‐level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland)
Highly Desirable Requirements
* High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems)
* Industry currency – experience in clinical role (minimum 5 years)
* Experience with clinical teaching
* Experienced Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Worker or practitioner
