Within Global Workspace Solutions (GWS) we provide leading facilities management solutions.
The Facility Manager will oversee day-to-day building operations and maintenance for a client site, driving cost efficiency and safety performance.
Responsibilities
Deliver efficient and cost-effective FM services across the client site, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Manage the HSE programme, conduct annual HSE inspections and support a safety culture.
Collaborate with building management, supervisors and contractors to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare, manage and update the annual OPEX and CAPEX programme and budgets in conjunction with the client and team.
Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules, risk management procedures, asset management and agreed premises initiatives.
Produce consolidated monthly reports including client service requests, key issues and tenancy inspection outcomes.
Monitor the energy savings programme and maintain accurate equipment data; proactively report on potential energy efficiency improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualification in property discipline or trade background is desirable.
Proven track record in managing fit-outs, refurbishments and maintenance.
Strong financial acumen – budget preparation, portfolio cost management and reporting.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of current Health & Safety at Work Act.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (intermediate to advanced).
