Procurement Officer - Aircraft Supplies
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Perth, Australia.
We are a global helicopter services provider known for our safe and reliable transportation services. Our fleet of over 200 helicopters operates worldwide, serving energy providers, hospitals, air medical organizations, and governments.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of aircraft supplies, including repairable/rotable parts/components and parts/component warranties. Key responsibilities include shared management, processing, and monitoring of repairable/rotable parts/components with other team members, as well as reviewing and establishing minimum/maximum levels in consultation with the Supply and Purchasing Manager or Fleet Support Director - APAC.
The Procurement Officer will also be responsible for liaising and actioning purchase requisitions from all Engineering and Service Centre locations within the same day whenever possible, directly with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and orders, and performing expediting for orders based on aircraft need.
In addition, the Procurement Officer will raise and review all purchase orders (including commercial) directly with suppliers as required and adhere to designated purchasing authorization level, facilitate base-to-base transfers and track parts delivery, and be responsible for vendor approvals and renewals within software tracking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Shared management, processing, and monitoring of repairable/rotable parts/components with other team members
* Reviewing and establishing minimum/maximum levels in consultation with the Supply and Purchasing Manager or Fleet Support Director - APAC

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous procurement experience
* Knowledge of aircraft manufacturers and product suppliers
* A sound understanding of conformity acceptance inspections and processes
* Experience using computerized inventory management systems
* Maintenance forecasting experience preferred
* Minimum 3 years' experience in supply chain and purchasing
