Enertia Talent has been exclusively engaged to recruit a Commercial Manager for a leading infrastructure contractor with a strong pipeline of major energy and civil infrastructure projects across Australia. The business has built an outstanding reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across a diverse portfolio, and this role will play a key part in supporting continued growth across the division.
This is a genuine leadership role, sitting across both precontracts and project delivery, with responsibility for driving commercial outcomes from tender phase through to project execution and completion.
The Opportunity
The Commercial Manager will lead commercial strategy across major tenders and live projects, partnering closely with operational leadership to manage risk, strengthen commercial performance and support project delivery outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading commercial strategy across major tenders and delivery projects
* Managing contract negotiations, procurement strategy and commercial risk
* Providing leadership across both precontracts and project delivery teams
* Driving commercial governance, reporting and performance across the portfolio
* Supporting operational leadership on contractual and commercial matters
* Managing client and subcontractor commercial outcomes
* Mentoring and developing commercial teams across multiple projects
About You
To be successful in the role, you will bring:
* Extensive commercial leadership experience within major infrastructure or civil construction
* Strong exposure across both precontracts and project delivery environments
* Proven capability managing complex contracts and commercial frameworks
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
* Experience working within Tier 1 or large-scale infrastructure contractors
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law or similar
