Are you looking to build your knowledge of technical service and repair in a safe and supportive environment? Our company is seeking an Apprentice Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a clean and safe workshop, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.
* Complete service logbooks, move customer vehicles as directed, perform basic mechanical tasks, and participate in road tests under supervision.
* Attend all required training sessions, arrive on time, and complete theoretical and practical assessments through the training body.
* Assist with customer pick-up and drop-off, build strong customer relationships, maintain product knowledge, and contribute to high customer satisfaction.
* Follow company policies and procedures, ensure legal compliance, and maintain accurate and complete documentation.
* Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements, including using PPE, reporting hazards, and ensuring tools and equipment are in safe condition.
About You:
* Previous experience working in a team environment is essential, with previous automotive work experience considered desirable.
* A full driver's licence with a sound driving record is required; holding or being willing to obtain a manual licence and having a minimum school certificate are desirable.
* Must demonstrate core competencies including accountability, good numeracy, and effective communication skills.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to meet both the essential and desirable requirements contribute to overall role performance.
