Job Title: Individual Support Trainee
Supporting vulnerable individuals to live the life they choose, allowing them to exercise choice and independence.
About the Role:
* Gain your Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) through on-the-job training and classroom learning.
* Work part-time with a minimum of 15 hours per week up to a maximum of 37 hours, depending on rostering and availability.
* Earn Adult Training Award Rate plus allowances, including Annual Leave, Personal Leave, and Superannuation.
* Mentoring and support provided throughout the duration of the Traineeship.
* Duties include supporting residents' physical, emotional, lifestyle needs and wants through assessment and observation, as well as assisting with personal care and hygiene needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A caring attitude and ability to converse easily with others.
* Ability to undertake formal training in Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021).
* National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
