Details: The Cultural Facilities Corporation (CFC) is seeking an experienced team leader to lead the delivery of facilities management across a diverse portfolio of cultural and heritage sites in the ACT including the Canberra Theatre Centre, Canberra Museum and Gallery, Lanyon Homestead, Albert Hall and other historic places.
This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and preservation of these important public assets. You will be leading the Facility Operations and Capital Works team across multiple facilities and collaborating with divisions showcasing our working across performing arts, visual arts, and heritage venues, contributing to the ACT's vibrant cultural life.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead a team of facilities management across multiple sites, ensuring consistent service delivery and operational efficiency.
* Manage preventative and reactive maintenance programs, including for heritage-listed
* properties.
* Lead contractor and service provider relationships with a focus on compliance and value.
* Support the implementation of a centralised facilities management model.
* Provide strategic advice on facilities-related risks and planning.
What we're looking for:
* Solid experience in improving the capability of a team in managing facilities across multiple sites, including commercial, heritage or cultural assets.
* Strong contract management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A collaborative leadership style and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Knowledge of WHS, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
* Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
* Experience in managing centralised facility service delivery, heritage or cultural sites is highly desirable.
* This role involves some travel between sites and occasional after-hours work. Flexibility and a practical approach are essential. A valid Australian driver's license is essential.
