Rix Asset Maintenance is seeking experienced Site Supervisors to join our team in QLD, supporting a number of slope stabilization projects across the civil, mining and infrastructure sectors throughout Queensland.
Full time positions available with projects located across Queensland.
About the Role
As the Site Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of geotechnical stabilisation works including various Drilling operations, Anchor installation, Grouting, Anchor testing, Rock fall netting and catch fence installation, Steel fixing, Formwork, Concrete, Shotcrete, and Scaling.
This role requires a strong leader who can lead and manage rope access construction teams while ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervision and coordination of rope access crews including subcontractors, suppliers, plant and equipment
* Ensure that plant, equipment, staff and subcontractors operate within safe working conditions and ensure that all operations meet the environmental, safety and legislative requirements
* Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
* Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and permit systems
* Conduct risk assessments, pre-work safety checks and equipment inspections while ensuring compliance is within industry standards
* Oversee installation of ground support systems including rock bolts, mesh, and shotcrete preparation
* Monitor work quality and productivity of rope access teams
Required Qualifications & Experience
* IRATA Rope Access Certification (preferred)
* White card
* Driving licence
* Minimum 3 years experience in ground engineering / civil infrastructure
* Demonstrated experience supervising rope access teams
* Experience in slope stabilisation, scaling, rock bolting, or geotechnical works
* Previous mining site experience strongly preferred
* Strong knowledge of rope access safety procedures and risk management
