You are a detail-oriented administrator with a passion for process, accuracy, and public safety. As a Sentence Administration Officer in the Sentence Management team at Clarence Correctional Centre, you'll play a critical role in processing inmate records, managing legal documentation, and ensuring that sentence and release information is timely and accurate.
This role sits at the heart of sentence administration, supporting the safe detention and lawful release of inmates, while also upholding procedural fairness and legislative compliance.
As a Sentence Administration Officer in the Sentence Management team, you'll make a positive impact by:
* Completing data entry and verification of inmate records into OIMS
* Reviewing and applying legal court orders accurately
* Preparing documentation for inmate release or court appearances
* Liaising with courts, legal agencies, and internal units to confirm sentence outcomes
* Maintaining registers and records to meet legislative and contractual requirements
* Supporting court scheduling, bail processing and inmate transfer documentation

You are a reliable, methodical person with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive legal data. You enjoy routine processes and find purpose in ensuring accurate and fair administration of justice.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
* Certificate III in Business Administration or relevant industry experience
* Strong administrative skills and experience with data accuracy and record-keeping
* High attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
* Understanding of legislative and sentence administration procedures (advantageous)
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
* The ability to meet compliance requirements, including Police Check and clearance by Corrective Services NSW
