Post Tensioning Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled Post Tensioning Technician to support the installation, inspection and supervision of post tensioning systems and related concrete works for precast post-tensioned tanks located across Perth and Newman, WA.
The successful applicant will work closely with engineers, project managers and site crews to ensure all post-tensioning operations meet design specifications, safety standards and project timelines.
* Support the installation of post-tensioning cables, anchors and associated hardware according to project design and structural specifications
* Prepare work sites to set out anchor positions, install formwork/tendons where required and ensure materials and equipment are ready
* Monitor, measure and inspect post-tension installations for compliance with design and safety standards
* Coordinate concrete pours and slab works in collaboration with post-tension setup
* Perform general labouring tasks as needed within the broader construction workflow
This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in post-tensioning, concrete work or construction labour. Key skills and qualifications include:
* Multistrand and monostrand (flat slab) post-tensioning experience
* Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and plans
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Understanding of construction safety standards
* Australian working rights
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen
