This role involves conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment framework, preferably within Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will engage with leading financial services clients across various sectors, including insurance, superannuation, and banking, providing a broad spectrum of experiences.
* Support audit projects to ensure they meet agreed standards and timelines.
* Research and analyse clients' needs to identify potential issues within the regulatory framework.
* Work with large datasets to uncover insights, drawing on experience in risk analytics and reporting.
* Collaborate on business development initiatives aimed at transforming risk functions.
* Coch and mentor junior team members to develop specific skills and capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment framework, preferably within Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting.
* Maintaining long-term client relationships and networks, as well as identifying business development opportunities.
* Experience with Australian and/or international prudential supervision, regulatory reporting, RegTech, capital management, enterprise risk, and risk data management is important.
* Good knowledge of third-party lifecycle management, including due diligence, risk assessments, monitoring, and offboarding.
* Good experience on various due diligence methods (e.g., risk assessment / vendor security assessment, risk management and controls review, audits, gap analysis, regulatory compliance review)
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., CPS 230, EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing PRA Supervisory Statement - Outsourcing and Third Party Risk Management) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 22301).
