Full Time Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Time Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a passion for modern bistro food, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Job Description
As a Full Time Chef, you will be responsible for leading your section, whether it be larder, grill or pans, and ensuring that it is stocked, prepped and ready to go at all times. You will also be expected to remain calm and composed during busy, high-volume services.
The successful candidate will have a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or 2-4 years of experience in a commercial kitchen. They will also need to have previous experience in high-volume kitchens and A la Carte service.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be a hard-working and dedicated individual who is looking to propel their career. They will also need to have the ability to work a full-time hospitality roster and manage any and all kitchen sections - pans, grill, larder, and fryer.
Requirements
* Hold a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or 2-4 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
* Previous experience in high-volume kitchens and A la Carte service
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Ability to lead and manage a team of chefs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits
Our company offers a competitive salary package, including:
* $77,000 + Super for Demi Chef (Cook Grade 4)
* $78,500 + Super for Chef De Partie (Cook Grade 5)
* $80k to $90k + Super for Sous Chef
* $85k to $110k + Super for Head Chef
