Foster Carer Engagement Specialist Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional to join our team in creating better outcomes for children and young people in care by providing education, engagement, and support to prospective foster carers.
About the Role
* As the first point of contact for members of the public considering foster care, you will educate, engage, and inspire prospective carers through clear information, answering questions, and connecting warm leads with foster care agencies.
* You will collaborate closely with agencies to support their recruitment, training, and assessment processes, provide insights to strengthen our campaigns and community engagement, and use expertise to help produce resources and other supportive materials for the sector and public.

Key Accountabilities
* Manage all incoming enquiries through the enquiry line and website, allocating qualified leads to agencies and providing feedback on enquiries to inform future campaigns and community engagement strategies.
* Support agencies in their use of the CRM, delivering training, identifying improvements, and leading the data strategy to improve data input and reporting.
* Provide secretariat support for sector networks meetings, including managing calendars, contacts, and preparing agendas and minutes.
Eligibility Criteria
* Demonstrated knowledge of program guidelines for Home Based Care, CIMS, and the issues facing community service organisations and ACCOs in the delivery of foster care services.
* End-to-end understanding of the foster care recruitment and accreditation process, as well as experience building relationships with stakeholders in a complex environment.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills, time management, and organisational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
