This role is focused on providing document control across various businesses, ensuring seamless documentation flow through drafting/engineering groups and plants/sites. The successful candidate will maintain and enhance the document management software, collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes, create and maintain Autodesk Plant 3D catalogues, prepare document reports, and ensure version control for internal and external drawings.

About the Role

">

The Document Controller & Project Coordinator will be a key member of the National Drafting Department (NDD), responsible for supporting the team in managing documentation throughout all Visy facilities. This is a full-time office-based role on site at our Coolaroo operations, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

* Support and manage documentation flow through drafting/engineering groups and plants/sites
">
* Maintain and enhance the document management software
">
* Collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes
">
* Create and maintain Autodesk Plant 3D catalogues
">
* Prepare document reports monthly
">
* E nsure all internal and external drawings are version controlled throughout their lifecycle
">

Requirements

">

To succeed in this role, you will require:

* Proficiency in document management software, such as Autodesk Products Vault and Autodesk Construction Cloud
">
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-prioritize workload through effective communication with requestors from other departments
">
* Exceptional attention to detail, crucial for ensuring documents are accurately entered into the system and promptly sent to other parties
">
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
">
* Flexibility with workload commitments in an ever-changing environment
">
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements for document control
">
* Strong problem-solving abilities, essential for daily tasks
">
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with VISY IT, external IT support, and other VISY business units
">
* Ability to learn, process and work with scanning equipment and software to produce accurate Point Clouds, Meshes and 3D Models
