We are looking for a motivated Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our client's Brisbane office, with opportunities for international site travel during the commissioning phase. This unique role offers the chance to contribute to a high-profile mining project, working alongside a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop mechanical and hydraulic systems for a cutting-edge mining project, ensuring innovative and practical solutions.
* Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications in line with project requirements and industry standards.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are implemented effectively and meet rigorous quality standards on site.
* Address complex technical challenges with creative problem-solving and clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
* Maintain transparent dialogue with clients and internal teams.
* Ensure high standards of quality management through the preparation and review of internal documentation.

* Coordinate interdepartmental workflows, ensuring seamless project execution.
* Maintain transparent dialogue with clients and internal teams.
* Ensure high standards of quality management through the preparation and review of internal documentation.
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within an EPCM or consultancy environment.
* Proficiency in engineering software for design and drawing management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks in a dynamic environment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
* Robust experience in both office-based design and site-based project execution, in mining or resource industry.
* A balanced skill set combining technical expertise with client-focused consulting capabilities.
