The ideal candidate will operate heavy equipment and perform various tasks to ensure the maintenance of rural roads.
1. To achieve high-quality road surfaces, applicants will be responsible for performing final trim grading and formation maintenance on unsealed roads.
2. To maintain machinery efficiency, they will conduct regular pre-start checks, report defects, and undertake routine maintenance tasks.
In addition to operating graders and other heavy plant machinery, this role involves labouring duties such as sign installation, slashing litter collection, kerb channel repairs linemarking construction activities assistance with workplace health safety environmental standards at all times cooperation within a team assisting other crews when needed
