Personal Care Worker / Domestic Assistant - In-Home Care
Location: Chermside & Surrounding Areas, QLD

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and versatile Personal Care Workers / Domestic Assistants who are able to provide all aspects of in-home support to our clients across Chermside and surrounding areas.
This role involves assisting clients to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Support is delivered with dignity, respect, and a person-centred approach.
Duties May Include (Must Be Able to Perform All)
Domestic Assistance
* Assisting elderly clients with general household tasks
* Cleaning, vacuuming, mopping
* Laundry, ironing, and light meal preparation
Personal Care
* Personal care and activities of daily living
* Assistance with showering and grooming
* Medication prompting
* Manual handling and mobility assistance
Social Support & Community Access
* Companionship and emotional support
* Community access and social outings
* Shopping and errands
* Transport to appointments
Essential Requirement:
Applicants must hold a full Australian driver's licence and have their own reliable vehicle with current comprehensive insurance to support clients with social and community access.
About You
You are caring, trustworthy, and confident in delivering both personal care and domestic assistance, as well as providing social support and transport. You understand the importance of flexibility, professionalism, safety, and compassion in home care.
Essential Requirements
* Ability to perform all aspects of the role (personal care, domestic assistance, and social support)
* Full Australian driver's licence and reliable insured vehicle
* 100 Points of Identification
* COVID-19 vaccination (minimum 2 doses) and current flu vaccination
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (from a Registered Training Organisation)
* Current National Police Check
* Working With Children Check (WWCC) - highly regarded
